  • 4 large potatoes and peeled and chopped
  • 1 Lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional Substitutions:

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375 degF (190degC) and grease a baking dish.

Step 2: In a large skillet prepare the beef on medium heat until it is brown. In the meantime, add garlic and cook for another 5 minutes. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper.

Step 3: In a mixing bowl, mix potatoes cooked beef, sour-cream and butter and half the cheese.

Step 4: Transfer the mixture into the baking dish you have prepared. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the the top.

Step 5: Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese has started in a bubbling state and the cheese is golden brown.
