Description

Easy and delicious no-bake coconut bars made with only three ingredients: shredded coconut, coconut oil, and honey or maple syrup.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the unsweetened shredded coconut and melted coconut oil.
  2. Add the honey or maple syrup to the mixture and stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the coconut mixture into the dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Press the mixture down firmly to ensure it sticks together.
  5. Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until the mixture is set.
  6. Once set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into bars of desired size.
  7. Store the coconut bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • For a vegan option, use maple syrup instead of honey.
  • Feel free to add chocolate chips or nuts for additional flavor and texture.
