Description
Delicious and juicy Blackstone Smash Burgers, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 burger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle on medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into four equal portions (4 ounces each) and gently form them into loose balls without overworking the meat.
- Once the griddle is hot, place the beef balls on the surface.
- With a sturdy spatula, smash each beef ball down to about 1/2 inch thick.
- Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a nice crust forms on the bottom side.
- Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Toast the burger buns on the griddle for about 1 minute until golden brown.
- Assemble your burgers by placing the patties onto the buns and adding your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.).
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to customize the toppings as per your preference.
- Using a beef blend with some fat helps keep the burgers juicy.
