Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup natural almond butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the almond butter and maple syrup over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the gluten-free crispy rice cereal. Mix until the cereal is fully coated with the almond butter mixture.
  3. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the pan and press it down firmly and evenly with a spatula.
  4. Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the bars to set.
  5. Once set, remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles as desired.
  6. Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
