Description

Keto Garlic Butter Steak is an irresistibly rich and flavorful dish that is both low-carb and satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a skillet, preferably cast iron, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until melted and bubbling.
  4. Add the steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time according to your preferred doneness.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, add the remaining butter, minced garlic, and rosemary to the skillet.
  6. Spoon the garlic butter over the steaks repeatedly as they finish cooking.
  7. Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the skillet and place them on a cutting board. Let them rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve drizzled with the garlic butter from the skillet.
