A delicious Keto Lasagna that tastes just like the real thing, perfect for a low-carb diet.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large zucchini (sliced into thin strips for layering)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the ingredients starting with a layer of meat sauce, then a layer of zucchini slices, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers, finishing with meat sauce on top.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on the final layer.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.

  • For a lower sodium option, use low-sodium marinara sauce.
  • Vegetables can be layered in a different order if desired.
