Keto Naan: Fluffy, Flavorful, and Low-Carb!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until all dry ingredients are thoroughly blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, egg, and olive oil until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough lightly on a clean, floured surface until it is smooth and slightly elastic, about 2-3 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat, round disc, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a bit of olive oil.
- Cook each naan in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on one side or until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side.
- Remove from heat and keep warm in a clean kitchen towel while you cook the remaining naan.
- Optional: Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Perfect for low-carb diets!
- The naan can be enjoyed alone or with a low-carb dip.
