A delicious low-carb treat made with almond flour, nuts, and sugar-free chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 200g almond flour
- 100g unsalted butter
- 80g erythritol or preferred sweetener
- 2 large eggs
- 100g mixed nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts)
- 80g sugar-free chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking dish (approx. 20×20 cm) with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, melted butter, erythritol, and one egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, chop the mixed nuts coarsely.
- In a separate bowl, beat the remaining egg and mix it with the chopped nuts.
- Once the crust is baked, remove it from the oven and spread the nut mixture evenly over the top.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the nuts are golden brown.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely before cutting it into squares or triangles.
- For the glaze, melt the sugar-free chocolate in a microwave or double boiler, then drizzle it over the cooled nussecken.
Notes
- Make sure to use sugar-free chocolate for a low-carb option.
- You can substitute the mixed nuts based on preference or availability.
