- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the mixture is smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, mixing well to fully coat the pasta.
- Stir in the remaining cheese, allowing it to melt into the macaroni mixture.
- Once everything is combined, season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
