Description

Keto Butter Chicken is a creamy, spiced dish perfect for a low-carb diet, ready in just 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, diced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken thighs, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the chopped onion. Sauté until soft and translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in crushed tomatoes, garam masala, cumin, and paprika. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream, stirring until fully combined and heated through.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
