Easy Keto Flan is a delightful treat suitable for your low-carb lifestyle.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup erythritol or your preferred keto sweetener
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the almond milk, erythritol, and vanilla extract over medium heat. Stir continuously until the sweetener is fully dissolved. Do not let it boil.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth. Slowly pour the warm almond milk mixture into the eggs, whisking constantly to prevent the eggs from cooking.
  4. Once combined, pour the mixture into individual ramekins or a large flan mold.
  5. Create a water bath by placing the ramekins in a baking dish and filling the dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the flan is set but still slightly wobbly in the center.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. To serve, run a knife around the edge of each ramekin and invert onto a plate.

  • Ensure the sweetener is fully dissolved before combining with the eggs.
  • For best results, refrigerate the flan for several hours before serving.
