- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the almond flour and garlic powder.
- Pour the melted cheese mixture into the bowl with the almond flour and garlic powder. Stir until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using your hands, shape the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Once cooled, cut the baked dough into small crouton-sized pieces.
- Return the croutons to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes for extra crunch.
- Let the croutons cool completely before serving.
