Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the almond flour and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the melted cheese mixture into the bowl with the almond flour and garlic powder. Stir until a dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using your hands, shape the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Once cooled, cut the baked dough into small crouton-sized pieces.
  8. Return the croutons to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes for extra crunch.
