- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Additional olive oil or butter for cooking
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well to ensure an even mixture.
- Add the Greek yogurt and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough begins to form.
- Use your hands to knead the dough gently for about 1-2 minutes until it is smooth and well combined.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
- On a parchment-lined surface, flatten each ball into a teardrop or oval shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil or butter.
- Place one naan in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Repeat the process for the remaining naan breads, adding more oil or butter as necessary.
- Serve warm with your favorite curry or as a side dish.
