Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Additional olive oil or butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir well to ensure an even mixture.
  2. Add the Greek yogurt and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough begins to form.
  3. Use your hands to knead the dough gently for about 1-2 minutes until it is smooth and well combined.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
  5. On a parchment-lined surface, flatten each ball into a teardrop or oval shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil or butter.
  7. Place one naan in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Repeat the process for the remaining naan breads, adding more oil or butter as necessary.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite curry or as a side dish.
