Description

Keto Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers is a delicious low-carb meal that will satisfy your cravings without the extra carbs.


Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ribeye steak, sliced thinly
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Lightly brush the outside of the peppers with olive oil and place in a baking dish.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the remaining olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and mushrooms, cooking until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak to the skillet, seasoning with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and mix in half of the provolone cheese.
  6. Stuff the cooked steak mixture into each bell pepper, packing it in generously.
  7. Top each stuffed pepper with the remaining provolone cheese.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
