- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Pour the lemon mixture into the cooled crust, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the top of the pie before serving.
- Garnish with additional lemon zest or lemon slices if desired.
