- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and almond flour. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir well.
- Add the egg and Italian seasoning to the bowl, mixing until a dough forms.
- Place the dough onto a piece of parchment paper and flatten it into a rectangle shape, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Evenly distribute the pepperoni slices over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, creating a log shape.
- Cut the roll into 1-inch pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Allow the pizza rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving with marinara sauce.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, omit pepperoni and add more vegetables.
- These rolls can be frozen before baking and cooked straight from frozen.
